Haftu Gebrehiwot
This study looks at differences in child health outcomes, depending on the distance of their household from the infrastructure of a solid waste management initiative (i.e. waste transfer stations) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This initiative was implemented by the government to address illegal refuse dumping and includes three modalities of collecting waste from household locations: open dumping transfer stations; permanent or temporary containers; and permanent waste collection stations.
