How do secure land rights, credit and extension services interact to reduce poverty?
Mkupete Jaah, Doris Macha, Jehovaness Aikaeli
Understanding the interaction between household poverty, regional economic conditions, and healthcare access is critical for designing effective and equitable health policies.
This study seeks to systematically explore how both household and geographical poverty shape the demand for healthcare services and the health system’s capacity to respond. By examining health status, healthcare-seeking behaviour, financing burdens, and regional disparities in health system capacity, the research provides new evidence on the dynamics of poverty and health in Tanzania.
